Our Christian religious education is much more than just teaching religious doctrine. It provides a space to discuss fundamental questions of life, such as the meaning of love, suffering, death and the meaning of life. Here, religion offers answers that arise from faith. In doing so, we experience God as the one on whom people can rely even in existential crises.
We examine the influence of religion on society and reflect on ethical questions such as freedom and justice.
Our interdenominational Christian religious education thus also provides a valuable basis for understanding different cultures and other religions and enabling peaceful coexistence.
