Creativity comes alive in the art department! Here, we don't just look, we create: we draw with pencil and charcoal, experiment with colours and painting techniques, design our own products and build architectural models. We create sculptural works with clay and bring ideas to life in black and white – or colour – with linocut printing. In this way, we learn many techniques and develop our own signature style. For those who want to delve deeper, the advanced art course for upper school students offers plenty of scope for projects, art history and preparation for creative degree programmes.
