In secondary level I, we lay the foundation for a successful Abitur: broad, in-depth general education, promotion of individual talents and a systematic introduction to the working methods and content of the upper school.

We encourage and challenge – in a tailored way: catching up on learning deficits, building on strengths, promoting gifted students (including working groups/projects) and providing advice on transitions. Working groups, competitions and projects complement the lessons and open up additional avenues for learning and experience.
From the very first day of school, we strengthen methodological skills, media literacy, teamwork, career orientation and independent learning – in preparation for the requirements of upper secondary school.
At the end of secondary level I, the following are possible, depending on performance:
