On Saturday, 24 May 2025, a special highlight took place at the Theater an der Wilhelmshöhe as part of the 1050th anniversary celebrations of the city of Lingen. In the concert "Wir von hier" (We from here), four musicians from Lingen, who have since gained international renown, performed to a sold-out house. With Annette Focks, Meike Leluschko and Prof. Ralf Schrabbe, three former Georgianum high school graduates were among the performers.
The Georgianum participated in the second half of the concert, designed by renowned film music composer Annette Focks, with a dance, band and choir project.
The top picture shows the project choir made up of students from Georgianum and Franziskusgymnasium, as well as the band with Annette Focks (piano), "Eddie" Tix (electric bass), Noah Gels (electric guitar) and Paul Melle (drums).
The bottom picture shows the dancers of the ensemble led by Greta Heinsohn (Abiturientia 2025).
We will all remember this concert as an outstanding experience.
